The Flippin city recorder position is not available to be on the election ballot until 2028. The position runs opposite of the Mayor/ Council races.

For the first time, the beautiful banks of the Arkansas River will host the annual Great Southern Stone Skipping Championships. It will take place on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at the Murray Park boat launch in Little Rock beginning at 9:00 a.m. Proceeds go to area hunger relief non-profits.
