BSCC Special Meeting approves vehicle purchase

Bull Shoals Public Works Department has two new pickup trucks and a dump bed with hoist thanks to quick action by Bull Shoals City Council. Council met in a special meeting March 22nd to approve three resolutions authorizing the purchase one used F-450 Crew Cab pickup, one new 2022 Ram 3500 Chassis Cab pickup truck and one new Crysteel E-tipper dump body and hoist that fits the Ram 3500 pickup. In roll call votes all three resolutions were unanimously approved.

Hello friends and readers of the Mountaineer Echo, I hope this week finds you all healthy and in happy spirits. The calendar says it is Spring, but the temperature outside says different. I am ready for it to get warmer. But defiantly not ready for 100 degrees. I will take the 80’s all year long please. So, I hope everyone had a great Spring Break. We had a good one, didn’t really do too much just worked and enjoyed time with the family. This week I am giving you some recipes of Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwiches which I find very tasty. Also here are a few things that I love to eat with peanut butter, it is a good snack and when added with apples, celery, crackers, strawberries, it is a refreshing taste. Books for Good Health

The Gamma Eta Chapter of the Delta Kappa Gamma Arkansas State Organization received the Education Foundation Grant for $500. The grant, “Books for Good Health”, will provide over 600 books to the Marion County Health Unit.
