Panthers Down Red Devils
The Yellville-Summit Panthers hosted the Atkins Red Devils in Panthers Stadium Friday, October 21, at 7 p.m. in a conference football game. The Panthers celebrated Senior night with conditions perfect for the celebration.
MCQC considers legislation
The Marion County Quorum Court met Tuesday, October 11 in the Marion County Courthouse to discuss 16 proposed ordinances, hear reports from elected officials and committees. Justices Brady Madden, Claudia Brigham, Mike Scrima, Wesley Shipman, Rick White, Joyce McCalla, James Underwood and Marty Nickels were in attendance. Justice Talon Vancuren and Judge John Massey were absent from the meeting.
Pet of the Week –
It continues to be busy around Have a Heart Pet Shelter. Along with several adoptions, both locally and out-of-state, we had a great time visiting with folks at our Turkey Trot booth and soon we will be gearing up for our Annual Soup and Chili Supper (with a cake and pie auction) planned for November 19.
American Legion Minutes
The American Legion Post #61 of Yellville held the monthly meeting October 13, 2022. Meeting was called to order at 1800 hours by Dustin Beals, Commander Opening pray was given by Teddy Beaudin, Chaplain.
2022 Cody & Misty Burrow
Marion County Farm Family County winners for the 75th annual Arkansas Farm Family of the Year Program have been selected. The County winners will be visited by a set of judges to determine eight district winners.
