Rutledge Secures Judgment
Little Rock- Arkansas Attorney General Leslie Rutledge today announced that a Pulaski County Circuit Court granted the State’s motion for relief against Jayson Cotter of Mountain Home, Arkansas. Cotter conducted business under the name Investment Grade Firearms (IGF). The court found that Cotter defrauded 12 Arkansas consumers and ordered him to pay $28,884 in restitution to consumers and $150,000 in civil penalties. In 2019, Attorney General Rutledge filed suit against Cotter, for violations of the Arkansas Deceptive Trade Practices Act.
Baxter Regional COVID-19 Update
Mountain Home– As of today, there are 552 active COVID-19 cases in Baxter County, which is what we hope to be the beginning of a downward trend. There are currently 32 COVID-19 patients admitted at Baxter Regional, with 7 in ICU and 5 on ventilators. There are 27 Baxter Regional employees with active COVID-19, at home and in isolation.
Covid19 up for third week
Little Rock - For the third consecutive week, all of Arkansas’s 234 contiguous public-school districts have COVID-19 infection rates of 50 or more new known infections per 10,000 district residents over a 14-day period, but the number of districts in the “pink zone” has decreased, the Arkansas Center for Health Improvement said Wednesday, citing its analysis of Arkansas Department of Health data current as of Monday.

Moose Lodge to host pork loin dinner
The Legionnaires of Mountain Home Moose Lodge #1953 will host their first monthly fundraising dinner event of the new year this coming Friday, January 28, from 4:30 – 6:00 p.m. The menu will include a generous portion of mouth-watering stuffed pork loin with Waldorf dressing, mashed potatoes, corn, roll, coleslaw and a beverage.

James Richard “Rick” Arnold Jr. age 60 of Western Grove passed away on Friday, January 28, 2022, at home with his wife and grandson at his side. He was born on March 21, 1961, in Pekin Illinois to James and Marilyn Keith Arnold.
