Howard Gene Saylors, 85, of Lead Hill, Arkansas, passed away on February 4, 2026, at Twin Lakes Therapy and Living in Flippin. Howard was born at home on December 27, 1940, in Dodd City, Arkansas, the son of Bland and Macie (Rose) Saylors.
Anna Lou Ingram Roe was born on July 20, 1946, and died on January 27, 2026, at the age of 79 years old in Springfield, Illinois. Anna Lou was born the second child to Raymond Olen Ingram and Lola Ann Jefferson Ingram Burleson.

By Robert Lyons Winter Storm Fern blew through North Central Arkansas with a fury last week. Snow and sleet began to accumulate causing road conditions to deteriorate, making travel treacherous. The weather plays a part in each and everyone’s daily lives as it changes. This storm caused county offices, schools and even retailers to close or drastically modify hours of operation.
