Dana Warren Junkin, 61, of Yellville, formerly from Riverside, Iowa and Raymore, Missouri, passed away on July 1, 2025. Dana (Pops) was born on October 9, 1963, in Washington, Iowa to Jim and Jolaine Junkin.

Larry Lee Gelesky, 66, beloved veteran, father, grandfather, greatgrandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on July 4, 2025, surrounded by love and family. Born on October 31, 1958, Larry lived a life full of strength, stories, quiet humor, and unwavering love for those closest to him. He was a man who made people feel cared for often in his own stubborn and unforgettable way.
Patrick Steven Nix, 64, of Harrison, Arkansas, passed away at his home on July 3, 2025. He was born on January 29, 1961, in Clinton, Louisiana, the son of Clarence and Allie (Bryant) Nix.
Eddie Troy Rice, 79, of Mountain Home, Arkansas, passed away at his home on June 25, 2025. He was born in Paragould, Arkansas, on December 9, 1945, the son of Carl Rice Sr. and Celeste Griffin Rice.

Three Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) members from Yellville-Summit High School recently returned from the FBLA National Leadership Conference, held June 28-July 3 in Anaheim, California. Recent graduates Elizabeth Smith and Fay Chism, along with upcoming senior Kyla Jackson, proudly represented Yellville-Summit as they competed among thousands of the nation’s top students.
