Attention Marion Residents! Marion County Community Center Project Update
Community Center Project to be Discussed during the April 8 regular Quorum Court Meeting Marion County, you have waited long enough! Here is your chance to hear about our exciting progress. Join us on Tuesday, April 8, for the regular Quorum Court Meeting, starting at 5:30 p.m., inside the Marion County Courthouse on the third floor.
MC Irish Dinner
The Irish Dinner was, again, a success! The community raised over $10K with a profit of nearly $7K to go directly to the MC Community Center Project! We would like to thank all the sponsors, ticketholders and donors, for their support. A complete list of sponsors is on the sponsors page of our website: marioncountycommunityservices.org These three spirited attendees were cheered to WINNER status in our Irish Costume Contest. Luck had nothing to do with it...just look at those outfits! Congratulations to1st Place - Georgina Stice ($50 gift card), 2nd Place - Dick Wendell ($25 cert. to Crooked Creek Pub/Breadeax Pizza), and 3rd Place - Bob King ($25 cert. to Razorback Ribs). The contest was sponsored by Crooked Creek Pub and a plaque will be hung in the Pub with the winner’s name and photo.

Mary Alice Mullen passed away at age 80 on March 17, 2025, in Harrison. Mary was born on July 23, 1944, at her home in Springville, Pennsylvania, to Claude Bush and Blanche Benjamin Bush.
Mary McNabb of Mountain Home
Mary F. McNabb, 70, from Mountain Home, passed away on March 22, 2025, at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri. She was born in St. Louis, Missouri, on August 28, 1954.

Lorraine Smith of Peel
Lorraine C. Smith, 77, of Peel, passed away March 20, 2025, at her residence. Lorraine was born December 5, 1947, in Mishawaka, Indiana, the daughter of Don and Bessie Snyder.
Anthony Campbell of Diamond City
Anthony “Joe” Campbell, 66, of Diamond City, passed away on March 20, 2025, at Cox Medical Center in Branson, Missouri. He was born on August 2, 1958, in Piercetown, Arkansas, the son of Alfred and Wilma (Spears) Campbell.
