The Marion County Election Commission will be holding Logistic and Accuracy Testing on Sunday, October 13 at 10:00 a.m. in the Marion County Annex.

Marion County Collector, Carla Purdome, would like to remind residents the last day to pay real estate and personal property taxes is October 15. Penalties will apply after the 15th.

Mountain Home Moose Lodge #1953 will hold its monthly fried fish and shrimp dinner this coming Friday, October 4, from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m. Guests may order fried fish, fried shrimp or a combination plate which also includes hushpuppies, French fries, coleslaw, vegetable, roll, dessert and a beverage. The event is open to members and qualified guests alike.
