Virginia Garland, 82, of Harrison, passed away July 1, 2023. She was born in Texas, on May 5, 1941.
Yellville City Park Features
Robert Lyons, co-owner and editor of the Mountain Echo Newspaper The Yellville City Park has many great features to offer patrons from walking trails to a Splash Pad for children to cool off during the heat of the summer. FLIPPIN FIREWORKS DISPLAY
The City of Flippin presented the annual Fireworks display on Sunday, July 3, in Hickey Park in Flippin. Here are a pictures of three bombs bursting in the night sky to the amazement of people in attendance.

10 July: Second Monday Dinner at The Post from 4-6 p.m. Menu includes meatloaf, green beans, mashed potatoes, drink and dessert. $10 adults, $5 Kids 5-12, Under 5 eat free. 28 July: Monthly All You Can Eat Pancake Breakfast at the Post from 7:30 a.m. - 11 a.m. $8 Adults, $4 kids 5-12, Free for kids 4 & under. Free for WWII, Korean Vets, Firefighters, EMTs, Law Enforcement and Active Duty in uniform 7 Aug: Legion Post & Auxiliary monthly meeting. 5:00 p.m. potluck; meetings start at 6:30 p.m.
