USACE awards contract to modernize Norfork Dam hydropower units
LITTLE ROCK – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Little Rock District awards Voith Hydro a nearly $50 million contract to modernize the hydropower units at Norfork Dam in Baxter County. USACE is proactively rehabilitating the hydropower units to extend their service life. Rehabilitation work is scheduled to begin this fall and projected to last through May 2028.

Arkansas Civil Air Patrol Engages Teachers
Little Rock - This past Thursday and Friday, members of the Arkansas Wing, Civil Air Patrol, assisted teachers from around the state to secure free resources for their classrooms, as well as the knowledge and training they need to assist their students become aerospace professional in the future.
Sabo Earns ASBTDC Ambassador of the Year Award
The Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center named Bill Sabo, director of the ASBTDC regional office at the University of Arkansas – Fort Smith, Ambassador of the Year at its statewide meeting on October 11, in Little Rock.
