In preparation for the Flippin School Veterans Day program, on November 11, submissions for the “Gallery of Honor” are now being accepted. The Gallery of Honor is open to all students, staff and community members to submit copies of photos along with an information sheet, of any loved one or friend that they would like to honor.
The pride in the school, the football team and the Homecoming celebration was evident Friday, October 4. The celebration was immediately before the football game at 7 p.m. in Panther Stadium. There was standing room only as the Panther’s fans, band and family filled the stands.
Veterans can now access key VA letters and notices online, including documents outlining the evidence needed to support disability claims, through VA.gov. Expanded access to decision letters VA has recently expanded the types of documents available online, adding more letters that help Veterans understand the evidence required for their claims.
