By Echo Staff YELLVILLE - Marion County Community Services, Inc. (MCCS) is an all- volunteer non-profit business based and operated in Marion County. MCCS officially approached the Marion County Quorum Court and Judge Jason Stumph April 8, 2025, with an offer to partner with the county to build and maintain a multipurpose community center for the people of Marion County.

Moose Lodge hosts pot roast dinner

The women of Mountain Home Moose Lodge will hold their monthly pot roast dinner fundraiser this Friday, August 8 from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m. The menu includes scrumptious beef pot roast, mashed potatoes, vegetables, roll, dessert and a beverage.

Linda Alford of Yellville

Linda Marie Alford, of Yellville, age 73, died peacefully on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, in Mountain Home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born April 18, 1952, in Memphis, Tennessee, to Harvey and Mary (Mitchell) Ballard.
