This is shaping up to be a busy week for Have a Heart Pet Shelter!

Arkansas 4-H’ers from Benton County, Garland County, Howard County, Marion County, & Washington County went to San Antonio, Texas last week to compete in contests at the 4-H National FCS Championship & Conference! Check out results below, they represented the #NaturalState in top tier fashion!

Marion County Sheriff Gregg Alexander reports that the Marion County Sheriff’s Office and the 14th Judicial District Prosecuting Attorney’s Office recently sponsored a three (3) day crime scene training course to area law enforcement agencies on the campus of Arkansas State University Mountain Home.

Have-A-Heart Pet Shelter (HAH) has some exciting news this week for our community! This year, HAH has been chosen to work with BISSELL Pet Foundation and hundreds of shelters in 38 states for the Bissell Pet Foundation “Empty the Shelters” Event.

– Ken Reeves, a longtime attorney, banking leader, and community advocate, will be recognized as the 2025 Ozarks Ambassador at the North Arkansas College Foundation Evening on the Plaza event for his public service benefiting Harrison and the region.
