Mark Phillips, 67, of Everton, Arkansas, passed away peacefully in his home on March 5, 2026, surrounded by his loved ones. The son of Robert “Champ” Phillips and Carol Phillips, Mark was born in Chicago, Illinois, on February 17, 1959.

HARRISON – North Arkansas College has announced the selection of Lewis Villines as its new Vice President for Technical Education and Workforce Development, a role that will focus on serving local workforce needs while expanding training programs and strengthening partnerships with school districts and employers across the region and the state. Villines will begin his new position on April 6, 2026.
