
Bobby Gene Camp, age 92, of Mount Vernon, Missouri, passed away at 11:27 a.m. on Friday, April 4, 2025, at his home. He was born September 9, 1932, in Marion County, Arkansas, the son of Dave and Elva (Shipman) Camp.

David Eugene Harms, age 89, passed away on April 4, 2025, at Hospice of the Hills in Harrison surrounded by his family. He was born May 2, 1935, in North Tonawanda, New York, to Benjamin and Grace Harms.

HARRISON – North Arkansas College (Northark) trustees voted during their March meeting to further explore a potential partnership with the University of Arkansas System.

Almost all roads with low-water crossings throughout Marion County have been impacted with the 7+ inches of rain received by 4 p.m. Saturday afternoon. We are encouraging people to stay home until the water recedes.
