The Bull Shoals Fire Department (BSFD) alarm rang Tuesday, May 13, at 9:01 a.m. of a structure fire with possible entrapment at 121 McDonald Meadows pkwy, to the home of Mr.
Friday- Partly cloudy skies with a slight chance of rain. The high temperature should near 73 degrees and a low in the mid 50s degrees.

Area Master Naturalists welcomed eight new members in mid-May after they completed at least 40 hours of classroom and field training in topics ranging from botany to zoology and from trail building to stream water monitoring.

Every year the Marion County Nursing Home Auxiliary, Inc., (MCNHA) awards several $1,000 scholarships to eligible students graduating from Marion County school districts.
AUSTIN, TEXAS - Marissa Perry, of Yellville, graduated with a Bachelor Of Science In Astronomy from The University of Texas at Austin in spring 2025. Perry was one of nearly 9,500 students who received an undergraduate, master’s or doctoral degree.

On Monday, May 12, 2025, Arkansas State Police (ASP) Criminal Investigation Division (CID) Special Agents arrested Douglas E. Starkey, 66, of Yellville, on charges of felony Theft of Property and Abuse of Office.
