Cotter School Board Meeting

Submitted by Ruth Howse The following members of the Board were in attendance for the meeting: Allen Franks, Cameron Ross, Jimmy Morgan, Russel Duggins, and Andy Slater. Administrators and other guests were also in attendance. The appropriate notice of this meeting has been given to local news media and posted on the district’s website. Allen Franks called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.

78th Marion County Farm Family

Kory and Charlie Brewer and family earned the honor of being named the 2024 Marion County Farm Family by the Arkansas Farm Bureau and represent many generations farming families in Marion County, Arkansas.

Saron Premer of Harrison

Sharon Premer of Harrison Arkansas, age 77, passed away Tuesday, July 15, 2025, in her home surrounded by her loved ones. Born in Booneville, Missouri in 1948, she was the daughter of Raymond and Emma Oerly.

Virginia Clauss of Harrison

Virginia “Nadine” Clauss, 94, of Harrison, Arkansas, passed away on July 5, 2025, at Hospice of the Hills with family by her side. She was born in Parthenon, Arkansas, on May 26, 1931, the daughter of Willie “Bill” and Faye Brasel.
