I’ve learned through my family genealogy research that my 2nd great grandmother Lucinda Stinnett 1822-1893 is related to the Stinnett’s who settled around Yellville, Marion County, Arkansas, around 1830-1840. Lucinda’s father Abner Stinnett is the brother of David Stinnett Sr.

Yellville Ozark Thunder at MOS

Coming to our stage this week June 22 is a new band straight out of Yellville Ozark Thunder Band. Ozark Thunder is a newly formed band based out of Yellville.

Along with the purpose of MCNHA being “to promote and advance the welfare of the Marion County Nursing Homes and its residents… [W]e also propose to assist other endeavors to benefit the health and welfare of the people of Marion County, as finances permit.”
