Shannon, Amanda Schroder and family earned the honor of being named the 2024 Marion County Farm Family by the Arkansas Farm Bureau and represent many generations farming families in Marion County, Arkansas.
Donna Morrow of Omaha
Donna Mae Morrow, 81, of Omaha, Arkansas peacefully passed away at her home on July 29, 2024. She was born on October 8, 1942, at Parthenon, Arkansas, the daughter of Ray and Ruby (Henderson) Brasel.
Elizabeth Chaffee of Gravette
Elizabeth “Libby” Anne Chaffee, 17, of Gravette, Arkansas passed away at Children’s Hospital on July 22, 2024. She was born on September 6, 2006, in Hot Springs, Arkansas.
Wesley Tilton of Harrison
Wesley Charles Tilton, 52, of Harrison, Arkansas passed away on July 30, 2024. He was born on March 28, 1972, in West Monroe, Louisiana.

The Marion County Clerk has started to receive applications from candidates pursuing positions on Marion County City Councils in the November General Election. Bull Shoals candidates are leading the way with early registrations for mayor and city council by residents.
