Dad and I closed up the pool hall one late summer night, noting that we had only accumulated a total of 16 dollars as a result of the entire day’s business. That wasn’t a good day, but it was a good day to float on the Piney rather than play pool.
The Yellville-Summit Lady Panthers hosted the Bergman Lady Panther in a conference Volleyball Match. Three matches were played with Bergman winning the Junior High match in straight sets 25-17 in the first set and 25-7 in the second set.

Gary Lee Methvin, age 55, of Everton, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, in Springfield, Missouri at Mercy Hospital surrounded by his family. The son of Bobby Lee Methvin and JoElla (Cunningham) Methvin was born in Harrison on April 11, 1969.

Lacritcia (Chris) Ann Brymer, 69, of Peel, Arkansas, passed away on September 18, 2024. She was born July 29, 1955, in Madrid, Spain, the daughter of Homer D.
