Main Street Deli is now open in Flippin serving Breakfast and Lunch to North Central Arkansas. Main Street Deli is located at 107 e. Main Street and is serving take-out meals. Johnny Douglas Dunham, age 64, passed from this life on March 19, 2023, in Walnut Cove, Willis, Texas. Born January 28, 1959, in Dallas, Texas, to Johnny Delbert Dunham and Wilma Jean Webb Dunham.

Beverly Copeland of Harrison

Beverly Jean Copeland passed peacefully into the comforting presence of the Lord, Monday October 2, 2023, at Harrison, Arkansas. Beverly was born on June 8th, 1959, at Memorial hospital, Yakima Washington, the daughter of Fred and Betty (Leslie) Copeland.

October 15 – 21 is National Friends of the Library Week

The Friends of the Marion County Library (FOMCL) encourages members of the community to stop in at our Library and discover all the things our library has to offer. There is a wide range of books of course, but there is also a large selection of DVDs, games, computers and technology. Our library has telescopes, fishing poles and many other surprises.

GermanFest Tickets Now Available

The Mountain Home Moose Lodge #1953, located on Hwy 5 South, will hold its 14th annual GermanFest on Saturday, October 21. Social Hour will begin at 4:30 p.m., with food service beginning at 5:30 p.m.

Under Friday Night Lights

The Yellville-Summit Panthers traveled to play the Quitman Bulldogs Friday, October 6, at 7 p.m. At the start of the game, the temperature was around 74 degrees with a wind blowing from the North at 10 to 15 miles per hour.
