LITTLE ROCK - Attorney General Leslie Rutledge is warning Arkansans of a prevalent scam taking place across the State. The method is called “phishing,” (pronounced the same as, ‘fishing’) and it is when scam artists email messages to consumers that appear to pitch products or services, when, these emails are specifically set up to gain information. Often, the message will alert the individual to a potential problem with their account and request the consumer provide private information like an account number, date of birth or Social Security number in order to remedy the issue. Phishing emails contain software that can harm your computer or track your activities on the internet without your knowledge. They are not only illegal, but they are dangerous to unsuspecting consumers.

We are starting to get really excited about spring getting here, quite tired of the cold weather, as Robert says 50 degrees and below is freezing. Hopefully some of these quick recipes will come in handy as we are all preparing our gardens and enjoying some warmer weather outside. I know as the warmer weather comes around, I enjoy more time outside and I do not like to cook as much. As Always, Remember the Little Things in Life, they bring us so much joy and memories.
LITTLE ROCK – The legislature completed the 2022 fiscal session in 23 days, approving a budget for state government that calls for spending about $6 billion in general revenue next year. A highlight of the fiscal session was approval of crime prevention measures, such as funding $5,000 salary supplements for local law enforcement officers.
From one-time bonuses to increased funding for safety equipment, the 93rd General Assembly made support for law enforcement a top priority in this fiscal session. Act 224 provides a onetime stipend of $5,000 to full-time certified city and county law enforcement officers as well as probation and parole officers.
