Gregg L. Alexander, Marion County Sheriff As an update to the December 25, homicide investigation, a suspect has been arrested, STEPHEN R. FITZPATRICK (white/ male, DOB: June 19, 1956), with an Everton address.

68 of Bergman, passed away on December 25, 2023. He was born on March 29, 1955, in Harrison, to Charles and B.L.(Cole) Waggoner. Art is survived by his wife, Minnie (Becky) Waggoner; sons: Kody Smith, Tayler Smith, Clayton Waggoner, Leon Waggoner and daughters Mikaylia Waggoner, Melissa Dyer and Liz Waggoner; and many family and friends.

Cox arrested on Stalking Charge
Jeremy Earl Cox, 46-year-old white male of Flippin was arrested Saturday, December 23, on the charge of Sexual Assault, Second Degree Stalking. Cox’s bond was set at $25,000 with a scheduled court date on Monday, January 22, 2024.
