Fort Smith Home Builders Share Industry Challenges with Boozman as Inflation Rate Continues to Climb

FORT SMITH — On the heels of new inflation numbers, U.S. Senator John Boozman (R-AR) is continuing his series of conversations with Arkansas business leaders to learn how the current economic climate is impacting industries in The Natural State. On Tuesday, Boozman met with Fort Smith-area home builders about their struggles with skyrocketing inflation, supply chain disruptions and the shortage of skilled labor.

Arkansas NRCS Solicits Conservation Innovation Grant Proposals

Little Rock – Mike Sullivan, USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) state conservationist, announced approximately $300,000 in funding is available through the state Conservation Innovation Grants (CIG) program to stimulate the development and adoption of innovative conservation approaches and technologies within Arkansas.

APA to Host Day of Debates April 21

A Day of Debates, featuring Lieutenant Governor, Secretary of State, Attorney General and Gubernatorial candidates, will be held on Thursday, April 21 at Little Rock Union Station, lower level. A luncheon will also be part of the day’s schedule. The event is hosted by Arkansas Press Association and sponsored by Arkansas Farm Bureau and the Electric Cooperatives of Arkansas.
