Forbes Magazine Names Arvest Bank a ‘Best Employer for Diversity’

Fayetteville – Arvest Bank is pleased to announce it has been included on Forbes magazine’s list of “Best Employers for Diversity 2022.” Consideration for the list was based on four criteria: direct and indirect recommendations, diversity among top executives and board members, and a set of diversity engagement indicators. The Life and Times of a Small-Town Arkansas Girl

Back in the day (in this case the 1960s), every kid needed a best buddy, especially in a small rural town like Flippin. A partner-in-crime, a ride-ordie, a sidekick to help navigate the “mean streets” of Flippin. (Wow, how many cliches can I include in one sentence? Evidently, at least four.) Of course, all of this is tongue-in-cheek. In the Flippin of the 1960s, crime was virtually non-existent, the streets were kind and peaceful, and my friends and I were pretty good kids.

Little Rock – The Arkansas Crime Victims Reparations Board is one of the smallest and least known state agencies, but it helps thousands of people every year. Last year the board awarded claims to 1,900 crime victims, 1,335 were victims of sexual assault and 565 were victim’s other crimes.
