Calling all College Poets

The Poets’ Roundtable of Arkansas is once again sponsoring its collegiate poetry contest. The 2024 Pat Laster Collegiate Poetry Contest is open to Arkansas residents, ages 18 to 25, who are attending Arkansas colleges during the submission period of January 1, 2024, through March 15, 2024.

For the week ending January 5, Deputies responded to sixty (60) calls for service. Of those, Deputies provided three (3) wellness checks and worked four (4) domestic disturbances. Four (4) misdemeanor arrests were made.
