Gasbuddy says, Gas Prices Falling

Average gasoline prices in Arkansas have fallen 8.4 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $4.25/g today, according to Gas-Buddy’s survey of 1,826 stations in Arkansas. Prices in Arkansas are 27.2 cents per gallon lower than a month ago and stand $1.41/g higher than a year ago. The national average price of diesel has declined 8.5 cents in the last week and stands at $5.65 per gallon.

Let Freedom Ring

On July 4, 2022, the Harrison Colony Chapter (HCC) of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) and the Ozark Society Children of the American Revolution (CAR) participated in the “Let Freedom Ring” event which was held at the Boone County Courtpark in downtown Harrison, honoring all veterans and recognizing the Revolutionary patriots of the original thirteen colonies.

Hello readers and friends of the Mountaineer Echo, I hope this week finds everyone in good health and happy spirits. We had a wonderful time in Flippin this past weekend going to the 35th Annual Flippin Fireworks at Hickey Park. The was a huge number of people there with lots of vendors and just to watch all of the children play was super nice. The fireworks were very nice and both bands were great. It is so nice to see the community still come together for such special events. I hope everyone has a wonderful week and As Always remember the Little Things.
