Washington – As near record-high inflation and surging gas prices squeeze companies and families’ budgets nationwide, U.S. Senator John Boozman (R-AR) is embarking on a regional tour to hear directly from community leaders, business owners, industry representatives and local Arkansans about the challenges they are experiencing in the current economic climate.
Average gasoline prices in Arkansas have fallen 14.0 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $3.43/g today, according to GasBuddy’s survey of 1,826 stations in Arkansas. Prices in Arkansas are 70.2 cents per gallon lower than a month ago and stand 57.7 cents per gallon higher than a year ago. The national average price of diesel has declined 14.8 cents in the last week and stands at $5.27 per gallon.

It’s been another busy, busy week at Have a Heart...and we love it! In addition to our local dog and cat adoptions, we sent six dogs to new homes in Massachusetts where their forever families were waiting for them, and 18 puppies went to Missouri where they will have much greater chances to find loving homes.
