Action Jacks features a huge arcade, two Escape rooms, a full commercial kitchen serving great food, the only indoor Air-conditioned Laser tag in Central Arkansas, as well as our always fun, low-impact paintball. Action Jacks also features an adult beverage area to kick back and relax! Action Jacks is open every weekend and is a great time for the whole family.

Bobcats Athletics a Year in Review 2021-22

The Bobcats were able to capture multiple ribbons and medals in both of these sports, and were well represented at the district and state meets. Hannah Penn and Madi Hopson both signed to continue their track careers at Lyon College.

CAPITOL DISCUSSION

As teachers dust off desks, parents buy new school supplies and students prepare to head back to the classroom, the signs that a new school year is upon us are unmistakable. Yet I can attest that some young Arkansans were still learning over the summer break, developing new skills, and gaining vital experience to help shape their future through congressional internships.

Arkansas Weekly Gas Price Update

Average gasoline prices in Arkansas have fallen 14.0 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $3.43/g today, according to GasBuddy’s survey of 1,826 stations in Arkansas. Prices in Arkansas are 70.2 cents per gallon lower than a month ago and stand 57.7 cents per gallon higher than a year ago. The national average price of diesel has declined 14.8 cents in the last week and stands at $5.27 per gallon.

Terry Clausen, Marketing Coordinator, Graphic Designer Mountain Home – The best-used book sale in the state is back this weekend, and best of all, the proceeds of the book sale will benefit Library programs and events. This week, Thursday, August 18 – Saturday, August 20, enjoy a great selection of books, including many hardcover books under $3 and paperbacks priced at under $1.

It’s been another busy, busy week at Have a Heart...and we love it! In addition to our local dog and cat adoptions, we sent six dogs to new homes in Massachusetts where their forever families were waiting for them, and 18 puppies went to Missouri where they will have much greater chances to find loving homes.
