Fall Tips for Yards and Gardens

It is that time of year when we think we are done with our garden or possibly the dreaded leaves and what do I do with them problem arises. Leaves will be discussed in a later article, so this article will be more of a general discussion of yard and garden work that can be done in the fall.

Marion County Farm Family County winners for the 75th annual Arkansas Farm Family of the Year Program have been selected. The County winners will be visited by a set of judges to determine eight district winners.

American Legion Minutes

The American Legion Post #61 of Yellville held the monthly meeting October 13, 2022. Meeting was called to order at 1800 hours by Dustin Beals, Commander Opening pray was given by Teddy Beaudin, Chaplain.

Last weekend I enjoyed breakfast at one of the long-time restaurants in Bull Shoals. It was a beautiful autumn day so, before going home, I drove around the town a bit and thought about visits there when I was a kid.

Panthers Fall in Salem

The Yellville-Summit Panthers traveled to face the Salem Greyhounds in a conference contest Friday, October 14, at 7 p.m. The conditions were clear skies with a south wind blowing approximately 10 mph and a temperature of 78 degrees at game time.
