Ronald Milo Lewallen passed away after a lengthy battle with cancer on March 9, 2024, in Mountain Home, Arkansas. He was born on March 11, 1940, in Wessington Springs, South Dakota, the son of Floyd and Doris Heeter Lewallen.

The Pine Mountain Volunteer Fire Department is holding a Gumbo Fest Fundraiser on Saturday, March 16 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. There will be chicken and sausage gumbo, rice, potato salad, and bread pudding for dessert. Tickets are $8 for adults and $4 for kids.
