Mountain Home Moose Lodge #1953 will again host its annual charity bowl-a-thon to benefit the Peitz Cancer Support House. The fun, family event will be held on Saturday, March 16 at Driftwood Lanes beginning at 12:00 p.m.

Due to an error in my reporting, I would like to make the following changes. Our Spring Marion County Book/Bake/yard sale will be Friday, April 19, from 9:00 a.m. till 5:00 p.m. and Saturday, April 20 from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.

Monday: Super Noggin Classes 9:00 a.m. 10:00 a.m.

It was two o’clock in the afternoon before we got to the lake, and it was up a little but not much. The water was just a little murky, but there was still a few feet or so of visibility in it.

The Pine Mountain Volunteer Fire Department is holding a Gumbo Fest Fundraiser on Saturday, March 16 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. There will be chicken and sausage gumbo, rice, potato salad, and bread pudding for dessert. Tickets are $8 for adults and $4 for kids.

The Marion County Republican Committee will meet Thursday, March 14, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. New Location will be in the Marion County Annex courtroom located at 105 S.

There will be a meeting of all members of Baxter-Marion Rural Water Association on Wednesday March 27, 2024, at 6:30 p.m. All members are invited we will be discussing future plans to increase our user base.
