Douglass Lewis Davis, Jr., 77, of Yellville, passed away on February 4, 2024. He was born on October 6, 1946, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, the son of Douglas and Ruby (Duhon) Davis Sr.

Payments to the MC Collector
Carla Purdome, Marion County Collector, has reported that the Collector’s Office CAN accept credit/debit card payments IN PERSON, or on the PHONE, but NOT ONLINE until books have closed. This is standard operating procedure when rolling over to a new year.
Pets of the Week
Have-A-Heart Pet Shelter Last week, Have A Heart Pet Shelter once again hosted a three-day Volunteer Low Cost Spay and Neuter Clinic. Approximately 120 dogs and cats were sterilized, meaning that 120 dogs and cats will not be producing unwanted litters and contributing to the pet overpopulation problem that plagues our community.
