Northark Recognized for Excellence in Online Medical Lab Technology and Medical Assisting Programs

HARRISON – North Arkansas College (Northark) recently received recognition from EduMed.org for its online Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) and Certified Clinical Medical Assisting (CCNA) programs. EduMed.org, a trusted resource for student-focused college and career information, recently unveiled its annual rankings for the 2025-26 academic year. Northark’s online programs rose above others for their outstanding combination of quality, affordability, accessibility, and positive student outcomes.Northark excelled in healthcare areas, notably, the MLT program ranked as the eighth best online MLT program in the nation.

Lady Pioneers down Lady Scots

By Robert Lyons The Lyon Lady Scots traveled from Batesville to face the NAC Lady Pioneers on Monday, December 1, in NJCAA Lady’s Basketball at the Pioneer Pavilion in Harrison. The Lady Pioneers defeated the Lady Scots by a score of 77-57. The Lady Pioneers led from start to finish and were led by #2 Keely Blanchard and Maggie Gresham. The Pioneers Men and Women will play Wednesday, beginning at 5 p.m. during the Homecoming games. The Lady Pioneers will play first with the Homecoming Ceremony held between games. Northark will host U of A Phillips College for Homecoming.
