Progress on the MCCC Project

By Echo Staff YELLVILLE - Marion County Community Services, Inc. (MCCS) is an all- volunteer non-profit business based and operated in Marion County. MCCS officially approached the Marion County Quorum Court and Judge Jason Stumph April 8, 2025, with an offer to partner with the county to build and maintain a multipurpose community center for the people of Marion County.

Bressler found Unresponsive

By Gregg L. Alexander, Sheriff Marion County Sheriff Gregg Alexander reports that on July 24, 2025, the Marion County Emergency 911 Center (E911) received a call reporting an unresponsive person in a vehicle at the Yellville Post Office. Medical personnel responded and found Wilson Kirk Bressler (48 Years of Age) of Harrison, on the ground next to his vehicle with cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) in progress by the caller.

MCL Introduces Librarian; meet Kasi

By Echo Staff The Marion County Library experienced tough times and exited the turmoil in a rebuilding phase. One of the final pieces of the bouncing back process was to hire a new librarian. The process was long and daunting, but the library found the person they wanted and hired Kasi Casteel-Manes to be the head librarian.
