Submitted by Matthew Wester WASHINGTON–– U.S. Senators John Boozman (R-AR), Tom Cotton (R-AR) and Congressman Steve Womack (R-AR-03) announced that they secured $141 million in new investments for Ebbing Air National Guard Base to further its capacity as host of the F-35 Foreign Military Sales mission. This funding was included in the Fiscal Year 2025 full-year continuing resolution.

By Gregg L. Alexander, Marion County Sheriff Marion County Sheriff Gregg Alexander reports that Shawn D. Eaton, 28 years of age of Yellville, was arrested on May 5, and charged with Indecent Exposure and Public Sexual Indecency, both Class A Misdemeanors.

The Marion County Library Board is scheduled to meet Tuesday, May 20, in the Marion County Library to discuss reports, library director and non-discrimination policy. The meeting is open to the public and everyone is welcome to attend.
