Special Olympics Torch Run through Marion County
I am deeply troubled that Republicans in our state are rushing to sign a reconciliation bill that will hurt us so much. Rick Crawford just voted at 6 a.m. on Thursday May 22 to pass the bill our felon president wants desperately passed so that 3.8 trillion can go to the upper 10% while raising taxes on the lower 10 %. The bill has many poison pills within it. Cuts will take 40 million off food assistance; 9 million will lose healthcare due to Medicaid cuts (that the president said wouldn’t happen—liar).
