MOUNTAIN HOME – The Baxter County Library is excited to announce the addition of Pilestone Color Blind Glasses to its Special Collections, generously donated by the Mountain Home Lions Club.
A reunion of the members of 688 MAC and Co C, 489 th ENG BN is scheduled for October 18, 2025, from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. The reunion will be held in the Assembly Hall of the Camp Jack HQ, 411 S Pine St, Harrison.

Marion County Sheriff Gregg Alexander reports that the Marion County Sheriff’s Office and the 14th Judicial District Prosecuting Attorney’s Office recently sponsored a three (3) day crime scene training course to area law enforcement agencies on the campus of Arkansas State University Mountain Home.
Mountain Home Moose Lodge #1953 will hold its monthly fried fish and shrimp dinner this coming Friday, October 3 from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m.
The October dinner meeting of the Marion County Cattlemen’s Association will be held Tuesday, October 21, at 6:30 p.m. in the old Yellville-Summit cafeteria. The meeting will be sponsored by Bank of 1889 and the program will cover our youth involvement.
