Sadness touched the boy, as he noticed she had a slight limp, and strangely, she was carrying a dead squirrel.

Sarah Lynn Dwyer, 37, of Mountain Home, passed away peacefully with her family by her side at the Hospice of the Ozarks in Mountain Home on January 7, 2026. She was born on April 13, 1988, in Joplin, Missouri, the daughter of Stan and Diane Smelser.

Carol Zientek

Carol Zientek, 91, of Harrison, passed away at North Arkansas Medical Center on January 2, 2026, with her daughter Jane by her side. She was born on May 31, 1934, in Menomonie, Wisconsin.

Susan Diane Jones-Amici, 80, of Harrison, Arkansas, passed away at home on December 16, 2025, with her family by her side. Susan was born October 5, 1945, in Everett, Washington, the daughter of Theron Vincent and Alberta Eileen Brinner Jones.
