Weekend Weather

Friday- Partly cloudy with a high near 65 degrees and a low near 42 degrees. Saturday- Mostly cloudy with a high of 66 degrees and a low near 48 degrees. Sunday- Showers possible with a high around 70 degrees and a low near 52 degrees. Next week: Showers continue early in the week with highs in 70s and 60s and lows in the upper 40s. Expect cloudy conditions for Marion County and North Central Arkansas.

Peter Rabbit Party

This month we got together to celebrate Easter with “A Tale of Peter Rabbit” Party! The room was decorated as Mr. McGregor’s garden, and he would be mad with all the rabbits that showed up! We had a book reading, trivia questions, played group games like “pass the bunny tail”, “jellybean race”, and more.

Flippin amends Employee Handbook

Members present were Jodi Howard, Margaret Ott, and Tony Ford with Mayor Heith Hogan presiding at the City Courtroom. Member Lacie Bettencourt was absent.

Patrick Lyons of Winslow

Patrick Lyons, age 64, of Winslow, passed away at Washington Regional Hospital in Fayetteville, on March 13, 2024, son of Earshel Marion and Anna Mae (Dennis) Lyons. Patrick was born August 19, 1959, in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

James (Pooch) Pucci, Drums and Vocals. Chet Kowalski, Musician and Songwriter. Kowalski plays many Instruments: 4/5/6 String Bass Guitar, Guitar, Keys, Vocals, Percussion. He started playing Cello in the 3rd grade and picked up the Bass Guitar in 1978.

professional musicians from the southwestern Missouri region driven by a passion for performing great music as well as a passion for excellence, and entertaining people! The members are brought back together from former bands of the past, therefore acquiring the name “Resurrection”. This group covers genres of Classic Rock, R&B, and crossover Country from the 60s to present.
