– Arkansas teacher salaries went up 3.2 percent last year, to an average of $54,309. That ranked Arkansas 45th in the country.

TORNADO ASSISTANCE UPDATE

By Robert Lyons The Federal Emergency Management Agency will be set up in the lower level of the Marion County Fairgrounds Community Building located at 513 East Seawell Ave in Summit everyday until at least Friday, June 14. FEMA is in Marion County to help with registrations and answer any questions the community may have about what assistance is available.

Dennis Ray Neeley Sr.

Dennis Ray Neeley Sr., 74, of Harrison, Arkansas passed away at NARMC on May 31, 2024. He was born on December 8, 1949, in Fresno, California, the son of Francis and Grace (Neal) Neeley.

Dawson Walker named to dean’s list

SEARCY- Dawson Walker, a Junior studying civil engineering, is among more than 1,300 Harding University students recognized for their academic excellence from grades achieved during the Spring 2024 semester.

Kiley Johnson named to SAU dean’s list

MAGNOLIA - Kiley Paige Johnson earned a 3.5 GPA or higher in the Spring 2024 semester, securing a reputable position on Southern Arkansas University’s Dean’s List. Johnson is a sophomore Elementary Education (STEM) major from Flippin.
