MCRC to meet

The Marion County Republican Committee will meet Thursday, November 14, 2024. The new Location will be in the Marion County Annex courtroom located at 105 S.

FOMCL Announces Fall Book Sale

YELLVILLE - FOMCL, Friends of the Marion County Library, would like to announce it will be having its fall book sale on November 8 and 9. For those not familiar with our organization, our mission is to provide support for the Marion County Library and its resources, organize volunteers and raise funds.

In the United States, an official wreath-laying ceremony is held each Veterans Day at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Arlington National Cemetery, while parades and other celebrations are held in states around the country.

Veteran’s Day Celebrations

In North Central Arkansas, November 11 is and will be a day of celebration for Veterans. Celebrations are scheduled at schools, VFW, American Legions and even the square of some cities.

Sandra Blair of Yellville

Sandra Lee Blair, 77, of Yellville, Arkansas, passed away in her home on October 14, 2024. She was born in Cheverly, Maryland on April 26, 1947, the daughter of Ulyess and Edna (Kolbe) Waller.

Robert Means

Robert Brian Means, 57, of Mountain Home, Arkansas, peacefully passed away at his home, with his family by his side on October 29, 2024. He was born on July 22, 1967, in Peoria, Illinois, the son of Robert and Norma (Woods) Means.
