10 July: Second Monday Dinner at The Post from 4-6 p.m. Menu includes meatloaf, green beans, mashed potatoes, drink and dessert. $10 adults, $5 Kids 5-12, Under 5 eat free. 28 July: Monthly All You Can Eat Pancake Breakfast at the Post from 7:30 a.m. - 11 a.m. $8 Adults, $4 kids 5-12, Free for kids 4 & under. Free for WWII, Korean Vets, Firefighters, EMTs, Law Enforcement and Active Duty in uniform 7 Aug: Legion Post & Auxiliary monthly meeting. 5:00 p.m. potluck; meetings start at 6:30 p.m.

FLIPPIN FIREWORKS DISPLAY

The City of Flippin presented the annual Fireworks display on Sunday, July 3, in Hickey Park in Flippin. Here are a pictures of three bombs bursting in the night sky to the amazement of people in attendance.

American Legion June Minutes

The American Legion Post #61 of Yellville held its monthly meeting June 8, 2023. The meeting was called to order at 1800 hours by Dustin Beals Commander. The opening prayer was given by Teddy Beaudin, Chaplain.

They really love learning all about how the plants first grow roots in the soil so they can get water and nutrients to continue growing and give us food.
