According to the US Drought Monitor, 100 percent of the state was classified as “abnormally dry” or worse on the July 12, 2022, report, and drought conditions existed in most of the state, peaking in mid-October. The second factor is flooded soils during the growing season.

We had representatives from Owensville, Ellington, Farmington, Conway, Marshfield-Niangua and Cabool attending. Joseph Paul Cantrall, age 73, of Flippin, Arkansas passed away Sunday, July 16, 2023, at his home. Joe was born in California April 2, 1950, to Jewell Crews and Virginia Orrell Cantrall.
