The Marion County Quorum Court met Tuesday, July 11, at 6 p.m., in the Marion County Court Complex to accept reports from the committees, elected officials and consider potential ordinances for Marion County. Janell Kirkwood, 92, of Springdale, passed away Sunday, July 30, at Circle of Life Hospice. She was born May 24, 1931, in Yellville to Elva Kirkwood and Lucille Burleson.
Harrison - Charles “Chuck” Copeland, known as Chuck, was honored with the esteemed 2023 Jack Williams award for NARMC EMS in recognition of his remarkable contributions. Presently, Chuck holds the vital role of Communications Chief for NARMC EMS, where he oversees the EMS dispatch center and the entire communication system of the organization.
