The Marion County Quorum Court met Tuesday, July 11, at 6 p.m., in the Marion County Court Complex to accept reports from the committees, elected officials and consider potential ordinances for Marion County. Justices Rolin Hutching, Mike Scrima, Marty Nickels, Joyce McCalla, Rick White, Talon Vancuren, Claudia Brigham and Wesley Shipman were in attendance along with Jason Stumph, Marion County Judge and John Russo, Marion County Attorney.
Janell Kirkwood, 92, of Springdale, passed away Sunday, July 30, at Circle of Life Hospice. She was born May 24, 1931, in Yellville to Elva Kirkwood and Lucille Burleson.

Presently, Chuck holds the vital role of Communications Chief for NARMC EMS, where he oversees the EMS dispatch center and the entire communication system of the organization.
