Rutledge joins Arkansas Banks in Warning of latest Scam
Little Rock – Arkansas Attorney General Leslie Rutledge joined First Community Bank and banks around the nation warning Arkansans about the latest scam sweeping the State. The newest scam involves con artists spoofing a phone number to cause the bank’s fraud department name and number to display on the phone’s caller I.D.

VFW sponsors Big Cat Classic
The VFW (Veterans of Foreign Wars) agreed to sponsor the 2022 Big Cat Classic hosted the Yellville-Summit Panthers and Lady Panthers at the Yellville-City Park. This year’s classic will see the Panthers face off against the Valley Springs Tigers, Norfork Panthers and the Mountainburg Dragons in baseball.
Y-S Girls finish 1st, Boys take 3rd at Tyson Relay
fThe Yellville-Summit Lady Panthers start the 2022 track season with back-to-back meet wins the Tyson Relays Meet as the team tries to repeat as State Champions. The Panthers improve from first meet to pick up a third-place finish at the Tyson Relays.
Hunting and fishing, conservation regulations proposals presented to Commission
MONTICELLO — The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission heard the first reading of more than 120 changes to the Arkansas Code of Regulations at meetings held during the last three days at the Witt Stephens Jr. Central Arkansas Nature Center in Little Rock and the University of Arkansas at Monticello.
Jr. Golf at Big Creek
Junior Golf is Back at Big Creek Golf & Country Club. The club is excited to announce two separate programs for junior golfers at Big Creek this summer: Junior Golf Camp and Big Creek Junior Academy. Both Camp and Academy are open to all interested juniors regardless of membership in Big Creek. All junior instruction will be supervised by PGA staff members James Stanofski and Mark Morton.
