Jordan Kyle Mitchem, age 28, of Yellville, Arkansas passed away Monday November 14, 2022, at his home. Jordan was born September 11, 1994, in Lake Charles, Louisiana to Jimmy Morena and Malani Mitchem.

Robert (Bob) Lynn Beard, 58, of Bull Shoals passed away on November 7, 2022, at Twin Lakes Rehabilitation Center in Flippin, Arkansas. Bob was born on May 15, 1964, in Mountain Home, to Onard and Hannah Mae Beard.
Special Meeting for MCQC
Thursday, November 17, the Marion County Quorum Court (MCQC) met for a Special Meeting at 6 p.m., in the Marion County Courthouse to discuss ordinances for elections, a vehicle for the coroner and windows at the health department. Justices Marty Nickels, Mike Scrima, Talon Vancuren, Rick White, Wesley Shipman, James Underwood and Claudia Brigham were in attendance along with John Massey, Marion County Judge.

PETS OF THE WEEK
Here it is, Thanksgiving week, and Have a Heart Shelter, is thankful for another successful Soup and Chili Supper with Cake and Pie Auction this past Saturday. There was a packed house of community supporters, but we are all beat and we will report more results next week.

This time of the year always brings up all the things we are Thankful for. I am most Thankful for having the Lord in my life.

Bull Shoals VFW receives donations
Annually, the VFW Post 1341 in Bull Shoals collects donations for holiday food boxes. This pictures displays the Allen’s Grocery donating food for people that need a little assistance.
Yellville-Summit Celebrates Veterans
Friday, November 11, Veteran’s Day, Yellville- Summit Schools celebrated local veterans for their service. Y-S annually honors veterans that honorable served the United States.
