This week, we come together as a nation to celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday. Thanksgiving is a time for us to pause and give thanks for the many blessings in our lives.

The American Legion Post #61 of Yellville held its monthly meeting November 10, 2022. Meeting was called to order at 1800 hours by Dustin Beals, Commander.

Rick White, recently re-elected as Justice of the Peace, District 4, is glad that he can continue to work for the citizens in his district and the county. Justice White currently sits on the Law Enforcement Committee. During the past year he has worked with Sheriff Clinton Evans to better utilize law enforcement funds.

The Governing Unaccredited Representatives Defrauding (GUARD) VA Benefits Act would reinstate criminal penalties for unaccredited claim representatives who charge unauthorized fees while helping file a disability claim.
