Spanish Poetry Slams at UAFS
Fort Smith - Students from the University of Arkansas - Fort Smith conquered stage fright to throw down in the form of poetry during the Department of World Languages’ Spanish Poetry Slam, November 10 in the UAFS Windgate Theater. More than 120 students attended the slam, many of whom participated themselves.
Christmas on the Square
Yellville music on the square is proud to present the 1st annual Christmas on the Square on December 3. Come join us from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. for a Christmas parade and music. BSCC discusses issues facing the City
The Bull Shoals City Council (BSCC) met Thursday, November 17, at 6:30 inside Bull Shoals (BS) Courtroom to discuss items concerning city departments, financial reports and progress in the building known as the Village Mart or the “old Harps building”. Joey Grede, Daryl Lindman, Chuck Kinler, David McBee, Dr. Kirby Davenport was present to represent the city council, along with David Nixon, mayor. Dino Giannini was absent from the meeting.
