If you follow the work of Have-A-Heart (HAH) either on Facebook or here in the Mountaineer Echo, then you may recall that in late December we were called upon by the Marion County Sheriff’s Department to assist with an animal hoarding situation. During that effort, we rescued 33 dogs and five cats.

My first memory was painful I can’t remember much about my first couple of years, but I remember a couple of things when I was three…one was the horror of getting a fish bone in my throat. That happening, I think, causes me to remember the old shack where Mom and Dad and I were living near the little community of Yukon, Missouri, which was not even on the map then.
