Cattlemen’s Dinner announced
The first 2023 dinner meeting of the Marion County Cattlemen’s Association will be held Thursday. March 9, at 6:30 p.m.
CSD Renews Principals
Thursday, February 16, the Cotter School Board met at 7 p.m. on the campus of Cotter School District. School board members Allen Franks Jimmy Morgan, Cameron Ross and Russel Duggins were in attendance along with Jayme Jones, Superintendent, and other school administrators.
Moose Lodge hosts fish & shrimp dinner
Mountain Home Moose Lodge #1953 will hold its monthly all-u-can-eat fried fish and shrimp dinner this coming Friday, March 3 from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m. Guests may order fried fish, fried shrimp or a combination plate which also includes hushpuppies, French fries, coleslaw, vegetable, roll, dessert and a beverage.
Vape Detectors Donated to Valley Springs School District
Kyle Evatt, the Region 2 Prevention Provider with the North Arkansas Partnership for Health Education (NAPHE) donated 2 Verkada Vape Detectors to the Valley Springs School District. Vape detectors work to address the ongoing student vaping epidemic.
